Description Letters mainly from August B T Cayzer, his wife Ina, and their daughter Heather, toAugust's parents. Subjects include the birth of elder son Nick Cayzer, a trip made by Gus and Ina to Italy, a summer holiday in Hartlepool, a trip made by Gus and Ina through England, the move from Rodinghead to Auchendrane, the birth of younger son Bernard Cayzer, the serious illness Ina suffered after this birth, the outbreak of war, correspondence re the divorce of Mamie Cayzer from her first husband, meeting her intended second husband, and the marriage. The bundle includes a letter from Ina's brother Arthur to her, after the Stancomb siblings had spent Christmas at Gartmore at the invitation of Sir Charles and Lady Cayzer in 1911; and a letter from Gus to his mother congratulating her on being appointed a Director of Cayzer Irvine, circa October 1914.
